Since postponement in 2019 due to the pandemic, the five day contemporary music festival Glastonbury Festival finally opened in-person this year.  

To capture the festival’s energy, heat, and music that makes even the mud an exciting experience, I created a new brand identity for Glstonbury to celebrate and promote the revival of the festival after its 3 years of absense. For the festival’s logo, I took an inspiration from typefaces created in 1970s, as an ode to its history, and incorporated bold graphics and a rain boot theme to portray the audience’s enthusiasm.

Glastonbury Festival is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place in Pilton, Somerset, in England.

In addition to contemporary music and headliner performers, the festival is also known for its unforgettable outdoor experiences. It hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, & other arts. Oh, and don’t forget the famous tents, flags, and mud*.
